A short introduction

I sit at the intersection of product, data, and the people who make decisions. My strength is being the bridge between them. I turn the questions of non-technical people into data, and the data back into decisions a team can ship. I care about understanding how things actually run behind the scenes and why people behave the way they do, and I lean on lateral thinking to do more with less.

01 / About

A little more on what drives me.

Across analytics, fintech, and consulting, I have worked in both technical and business environments, and translating between the two has become what I do most often and what I enjoy most. Whether it was A&R teams at Sony Music or senior leadership in consulting, my role has been to make the data understandable to the people who need to act on it, and to bring their questions back to the technical side.

I am drawn to analytics, data strategy, product, and consulting because they reward the same combination: logical thinking, clear communication and getting things done. I like dynamic environments where I can learn quickly, adapt, and contribute hands-on. I also want to be part of an industry that has a positive impact on people's lives, building products people genuinely enjoy.

The work, in order.

Systematised end-to-end data ingestion and cleaning across multiple campaign sources using Azure, eliminating manual data-wrangling and standardising inputs for visualisation.

Built pipelines connecting campaign data to Power BI, giving real-time visibility into performance in place of manual, ad-hoc pulls. Designed Power BI dashboards tracking campaign performance and overall company financials, used by senior leadership to monitor ROI across channels.

Consultant

ARNI Consulting Group · Mexico City
Oct 2024 to Sep 2025

Supported business development that led to the acquisition of several international engagements, including the USDA Agribusiness Trade Mission to Mexico, the firm's largest commercial project in 25 years. Coordinated cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and parallel workstreams, focusing on U.S. firms entering the Mexican market.

Worked closely with senior stakeholders on both strategic direction and operational execution, covering reporting, client communication and day to day project management.

USDA Agribusiness Trade Mission to Mexico

ARNI led the end-to-end coordination and business matchmaking for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's trade mission to Mexico. The programme ran over four intense days of B2B meetings, sector intelligence and cross border engagement between U.S. exporters and Mexican buyers.

  • 40U.S. exporting companies
  • 170+Delegates
  • 4Days of programming

I was in charge of the project, above all its methodology: designing how the programme and the matchmaking would run, planning the timeline back from the mission dates, finding and bringing together the teams that delivered it, and keeping them coordinated with the key stakeholders through to a seamless execution.

Analysed listener behaviour (streams, skips and saves) across multiple databases with SQL and Python to find engagement drop-off and friction patterns, informing product and marketing decisions.

Defined and tracked engagement KPIs in four director-facing Tableau and Power BI dashboards used for weekly decisions, and ran weekly storytelling sessions for non-technical marketing and A&R teams to support artist discovery.

MSc Business Analytics

Esade Business School · Barcelona
In progress · 2025 to 2026
Esade, Ramon Llull University · Barcelona campus Esade, Ramon Llull University · Barcelona campus

Currently enrolled in the MSc in Business Analytics at Esade, strengthening the technical and strategic toolkit: advanced analytics, machine learning, data strategy and business intelligence, applied to real decision problems with teams from across industries.

Working across all of this has pushed me outside my comfort zone. It has also shown me that today's technology lets us aim for more strategic, better solutions, built for real impact and not just incremental fixes.

Research project · Capstone 2026 Strategic coherence in large language models: a game theory study

Team of five, with Giorgio Fiorentino, Gabriela Méndez, María Mora & Samreen Siddique · supervised by Carlos Farré Carrasco.

Do AI agents play the same way when the game changes? We had six large language models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google play three classic games (an iterated Prisoner's Dilemma, a Commons Dilemma over a shared, regenerating resource, and a Cheap Talk signalling game) and measured each one on a five-parameter strategic profile: reciprocity, exploitation, honesty, trust and belief calibration.

  • FingerprintsEach model has a distinct, reproducible strategic profile, and they separate clearly on reciprocity, exploitation and honesty.
  • IncentivesWhen lying paid, four of six models cut truthful signalling sharply (a drop of 43 to 52 points); two barely changed.
  • Structure over labelsHiding the state of the shared pool raised resource collapse from 37% to ~83% of games; telling a model its opponent was human or AI changed nothing.

Behind it is a lot of teamwork and a lot of analysis: designing the experiments, versioning every prompt, logging thousands of rounds into per-game databases, and testing the results with non-parametric tests, round-level models and robustness checks.

It was demanding, and one of the most satisfying pieces of work I've done. The lesson carries straight into business: incentives, information and the rules of the game shape behaviour far more than labels do.

Applied project · Recommender Systems OpenTable: a context aware restaurant recommender

Team project with Gabriela Méndez, María Angélica Mora Zamora, Georgii Runko & Samreen Siddique.

OpenTable curates, but it doesn't personalise: every diner sees the same "best of" lists, blind to the occasion. We designed a recommender that gets the table right when it matters most, like birthdays, anniversaries and business lunches, with one system that grows with each diner across three models:

  • Cold user · 0 to 2 bookingsSegment-based collaborative filtering; a short onboarding survey solves the cold start.
  • Warm user · 3 to 9 bookingsA hybrid of collaborative and content-based filtering, with the weights shifting automatically as the diner's history grows.
  • Established · 10+ bookingsContext-aware matrix factorisation: occasion, party size and time re-rank the diner's own taste instead of replacing it with a generic list.

We tied it back to the business, with repeat booking rate as the primary KPI and booking conversion as secondary, and built the risks in from the start: a diversity quota against filter bubbles, re-ranking against popularity bias so new and niche venues still get seen, GDPR-minded use of personal data, and paid placement that can never override match quality. The demo runs the three models live on Barcelona restaurant data.

Digital Transformation with Korea University Business School

As part of the MSc, our cohort travelled to Seoul for a week at Korea University Business School, where I earned a certificate in Digital Transformation and saw first-hand how one of the most digital economies in the world builds and scales technology.

Coursework

  • Decision Making with A/B Testing: experimental design, power and sample sizing, hypothesis testing, and safeguards like avoiding p-hacking, to make decisions the data can actually support.
  • Python: data wrangling, pipelines, and automation applied to real business problems.
  • R: statistical modelling and inference alongside Python, for rigorous analysis.
  • Artificial Intelligence: from ML fundamentals to applied AI use cases.
  • Web & App Development: building and shipping the tools that put data in front of the people who need it.
  • Social Impact: using data and strategy on problems that sit beyond the balance sheet.
  • Recommender Systems: the algorithms behind personalisation at scale.
  • AWS: cloud infrastructure for data and applications.

05 / Off the clock

A little more personal.

I am a competitive person. I love being challenged and keep trying new things to test myself and reach the next level. That same drive carries straight from work into the rest of my life.

I play football and other team sports, run, and swim to stay sharp; away from the pitch I play the piano and paint with watercolours. I am also a devoted lover of good coffee and good food, usually with a notebook nearby and at least one half-finished framework on a whiteboard somewhere. I'm just as passionate about music and video games, and I'm always digging into a new playlist or a new game.
